Who is behind this newsletter?

Alchemist—defined as a person who transforms or creates something through a seemingly magical process.

At my core – I am a creative alchemist. I know how to curate a beautiful experience out of seemingly nothing. And as a spiritual herbalist, it brings me great joy to invite others to the alchemical process in partnership with plant allies and through the tools of embodiment, storytelling, and meditation.

I contain and create multitudes. My healing work in the community mirrors my collective creative work.  As a storyteller and cultural activist, I believe that media, art, and culture can be used as powerful tools for empowerment and healing. An archive of my published reviews, critiques, & explorations of cultural works can be seen at my site, Culture Notes by Khayla
